Top Ten Tuesday is a list feature that was created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they give you a different question or topic where you can answer by listing your top ten choices.
This week’s topic is: Top Ten 2013 Debuts I'm Looking Forward To.
Level Two by Lenore Appelhans – I’ve been eagerly waiting on this one since I first heard that Lenore was getting published on her blog. It sounds pretty amazing and I’ve already heard that it actually is.
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman- I love the synopsis of this one, ever since I read Across the Universe by Beth Revis I’m no longer afraid of reading a novel based in space and this one is suppose to be one in a romantic trilogy of different characters but with the same villain in all three.
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke – This line from the synopsis made me add it to my list immediately: “Violet’s grandmother always warned her about the Devil, but she never said he could be a dark-haired boy who takes naps in the sun, who likes coffee, who kisses you in a cemetery...who makes you want to kiss back.”
Transparent by Natalie Whipple – An invisible girl??!! That’s all I need to know. Haven’t read anything like it before.
How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski – A girl that sets her ex’s car of fire and is then sent on a road trip with her neighbor and his two best friends? Yes, Yes please!!
Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn – This sounds AMAZING!! The synopsis is intriguing and chilling, I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell – A first love type of story set in the 80’s?!! I’m all for that!! Can’t wait!
All Our Yesterdays by Christin Terrill – This one sounds really interesting, a girl traveling back in time to kill the person that caused her that terrible future she fled from. Mmhh… sign me up!
Fault Line by Christa Desir – This sounds like it will be from a male pov and I LOVE those! The synopsis made me very curious to know what really happened to Ani at the party. I sort of have an idea but I hope I’m wrong.
In the After by Demitria Lunetta- ACCCKK! This one sounds pretty creepy but I love those. What are these “vile creatures”?? Zombies?? I can’t wait to find out!
Some of these are ones I really want too! Between the Devil . . . and Another Little Piece especially. (Level 2 is great!)
